How cool are these Dry Ice Experiments from Crafting in the Rain? My boys are going to be begging to go to the store for some dry ice.
Dry Ice Experiments
Can I just say how much I love science! Science is the theme for this week on Summer Survival for Moms of Boys and I am loving all of the experiments that have been shared.
If there is one thing that I hope I am doing in my children’s education it is teaching them to love science as much as I do. Sadly, children seem to lose their enthusiasm for science the older they get but I am determined to keep my boys excited about learning and experimenting. It is experiments like these Dry Ice Experiments from Crafting in the Rain , that are just the thing to help keep their enthusiasm alive.
Steph from Crafting in the Rain writes about their family life and projects as they live in the rainy Pacific Northwest. She has so many cute things on her site so make sure to check it out.
And make sure to visit Summer Survival for Moms of Boys where you will find ideas and activities for keeping your kids entertained throughout the summer and even into the rest of the year. You will find crafts, activities, water fun, science, schedules/organization ideas, fun food and more.

I think that cool science experiments are the only thing that kept me into science when I was a kid. Dry ice was definitely the coolest of the things I got to play with. Only with my parents’ supervision, of course. But is was fun to make cannons and to blow up pop bottles. (This is why we had to have my mom or dad with us). Eventually I got to the point where I actually wanted to understand why the experiments were happening the way they did.
