A Spooky Halloween Night Game

The day has come and soon ghosts, witches and skeletons will be haunting our neighborhoods. If you are planning parties or need a little something fun for the kids to help hold them over until trick-or-treating time, here is a fun little game I put together. Have the kids close their eyes the entire time and draw the spooky site as you read the story. Then at the end, they can open their eyes and see what they have made. We’ve had lots of fun seeing the different spooky sights that have been drawn. I recommend this game for kids 6 and older.

Our summer break is coming to an end (Yes, I am one of those moms that will be shouting Hallelujah when school starts this coming week. Don’t judge. 
), and I’m so excited to share some of the fun things we’ve done over our break, but first I have to get my home and family organized and ready to head back to school on Monday. Sorry I haven’t been updating for a couple of weeks. One week was spent enjoying the beautiful mountains of Utah away from all cell/internet service (I highly recommend that to everyone! Very relaxing to not have to worry about anything and just enjoy our beautiful Earth) and this past week was spent recuperating from my 5 week vacation and helping my baby get over Bronchitis and ear infections. Oh the joys of no sleep, piles of laundry, school shopping, closet organizing, etc. I will say that it is nice to be home but living out of a suitcase for 5 weeks made me want to come home and organize EVERYTHING! I’m tired of things being out of place. Does anyone else get that feeling right before school starts?? Am I going crazy?
I will be back Monday with some motivation and then I’ll be sharing some of the fun things that we did this summer.

I’m a mom of 4 boys, which also makes me a
nurse, referee, taxi driver,teacher, party planner, story teller, barber,dietician, baker, atm, maid, personal shopper, jungle gym, coach, puppeteer, motivator and negotiator. On the rare occasion that I get a moment to myself I like to sing, play the piano and guitar and just relax. I’m sharing my life with you as well as fun activities, crafts, recipes and ideas designed just for boys, in hopes that together we can, not only survive, but find joy in raising boys.
